Relations to the PTB[edit]

I may be wrong, but I believe the Communist movement in Belgium (currently exemplified by the Workers' Party of Belgium) never actually split along linguistic lines - one of the only Belgian parties not to do so. Indeed, it appears to still run candidates and produce propaganda in both French and Dutch. If this is correct, where does this party come from?
