The article currently reads like it was taken out from some promotional material for the website. The quantitativ statements are not properly referenced by secondary sources in the text. Proposed merger of CORDIS history into this article[edit]

CORDIS history article was created in Nov 2015 and I had proposed merging that page into this article since I see very little reason to have a separate article on that subject.
