Page Needs Lots of Work[edit]

The page as it is currently needs a lot of work. For starters, the language called ʔayʔaǰuθəm is the common language of all four communities. The word 'ʔayʔaǰuθəm' means 'to speak well' (CVC-ʔaǰ̓-uθ-əm / PL-good-speak-MID), not 'the language of our people', which is closer to the translation of 'qaymixʷqanəm'. The use of orthography on this page is completely inconsistent, and fails to reflect the system that the communities actually use. A lot of the examples and discussions are grossly outdated and wrong, some needing to be re-sourced entirely.

If I have time I will come back and fix as much as I can, but failing that this discussion starter is here on the talk page.

Just popping in 6 years and 1 day later to say it still needs a lot of work. I'm going to see what I can do about chipping away at some of these things, since IJAL seems to have a lot of good information and it's available with the Wikipedia Library thing.
