Proposed Merger/Deletion[edit]

Competitive Examination is nothing but Entrance examination (held in a competitive manner) which are conducted by educational institutions all over the world. The latter article covers all the things mentioned in this article and much more. It would be nice to expand that only, instead creation of a new one. I strongly recommend to have a redirection to Entrance examination for Competitive Examination. Hence I nominate this for Speedy deletion.Vivek Rai (talk) 16:26, 26 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I moved educational portions into Entrance examination and tagged that article as related to educational aspects. Then I made the present article a disambiguation page for educational and non-educational entrance examination. Fgnievinski (talk) 13:19, 10 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
There are competitive examinations that are not entrance exams. The merging would make no sense. Quantum Knot (talk) 15:43, 6 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Problematic formulation[edit]

The tone of the article is not fitting for Wikipedia. The information about France and that it is "surely" the most difficult one in the world regarding competitive exams are also not accurate. I also think that the whole thing can be merged with entrance examination. Sedai2014 (talk) 12:25, 13 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed merge of Test (assessment) with Competitive examination[edit]

If any sources for this content can be found, then merge to the article which covers Examinations. PamD 19:19, 17 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Support merge; if the unreferenced content and poorlt-referenced content is removed, this would fit nicely as part of the list of assessment types in Test (assessment)#Types. Klbrain (talk) 21:07, 2 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
