So -- Are new CAMAC modules still being manufactured, or no? I guess this is still in use in some places, but is it used in the latest systems, e.g LHC? linas (talk) 00:15, 8 January 2010 (UTC) While I do not know of new projects that are implementing CAMAC systems, there are projects that are maintaining their CAMAC investment by buying new controllers for new computers, for example Ethernet controllers. We have recently (2014) sold new controllers to three customers. I do notice that CAMAC is omitted from the list of computer interfaces which is a shame as I believe it predates all but the serial RS232. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Peterclout (talkcontribs) 16:56, 29 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
