Publication period of Computers and Automation[edit]

The publications list states that Computers and Automation was published from 1951 to 1978. At least the end date of that range is provably wrong: one of the sources referenced shows clearly – as it has scans of the actual issues – that it was renamed to Computers and People in 1975 (the cover notes "formerly Computers and Automation"), and the final issue archived is "Jan.–Feb., 1988", so it seems to have been in publication until at least then. (To confuse matters even more, the description of the collection says that publication stopped in 1972, which fits neither the scans on file, nor the date given in this article, nor the year of the renaming).

Edmund C. Berkeley died in 1988, but I couldn't find any source on whether that was when publication ceased as well. I would have corrected the dates, but haven't found a source on which was the actual final issue. Scharmör (talk) 23:58, 11 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
