Merge[edit]

A lot of this material is duplicated on SS-Totenkopfverbände. I've started a merge proposal. -OberRanks (talk) 20:11, 27 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Support - It's okay with me (even though German Wikipedia has a separate article on it), as long as the main details of the article are kept in the transfer. Kierzek (talk) 01:43, 28 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose - This article has a lot more detail than the other and the other article is already long. Marrante (talk) 07:09, 28 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
After reviewing the article, it appears that the only independent section, not in some way duplicated or already covered in the main TK article, is the "Hierarachy in the Camps" section and even that section is about 20% duplicated info. I think a merge would also cut down on length while still preserving the material. We are certainly not talking about a redirect; this would be a real merge. -OberRanks (talk) 13:32, 28 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Second Holocaust Nav box?[edit]

Do we really need to be adding a second Holocaust Nav box to this article and SS-Totenkopfverbände when there is already a Holocaust Nav box included at the bottom of each article? If they are not exactly the same (although a quick check appears to show that overall they seem to be so; with the prior Nav box placed at the bottom of the page a little more detailed) then why not change one of the Nav boxes to be all inclusive and just have one box? Do we really need two? Kierzek (talk) 15:03, 5 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Since they are redundant and especially the second one being added without discussion and without consensus, I am reverting them back to the single nav boxes. Kierzek (talk) 16:10, 5 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Agree as well that having two navboxes with the same info is redundant. -OberRanks (talk) 16:13, 5 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Agree: Thank you for removing the second, redundant navbox. Marrante (talk) 07:15, 6 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
