@Jirka.h23: So, basically, what you're pushing here is inaccurate. First of all, not all Russian athletes were reinstated (11 bans were upheld). Second of all, the IOC pointed out that CAS decisions don't mean that these 28 athletes are innocent nor that they're not involved in the doping system. The CAS just thought that gathered evidence is not enough to confirm an anti-doping violation of an individual athlete. The IOC responded by saying that it will appeal that decision when reasoning is published. It also said that it will not invite these athletes to the 2018 Olympics. That's it. So you either explain this whole situation or don't selectively post some comments of people unrelated to the process. Hello Djdisiwk78, sorry for the late reply. I hope that our common goal is to have here the most neutrally structured article. I am not sayin that the CAS cleared all the athletes, nor that the athletes will be invited to these Olympics. We're not here to judge something, both views of all sides should be taken into account in the dispute, I am just citing a matter of view, one of many on this article. When A is spoken, B must be said. If we say that Russia’s sports minister demand the participation of these athletes, we can say that the IOC will not invite these athletes to the 2018 Olympics (with consideration of your source). FIS bias[edit]

Will the Snowboarding governing body be in charge of the snowboarding events for the next winter Olympics? It appears that the FIS is more concerned about the safety of the skiers than they are about the safety of the snowboarders. Mobile mundo (talk) 19:15, 15 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Cyberattack[edit]

I'm reading that there was a cyberattack directed at the Games called Olympic Destroyer, which resulted in disruptions and is thought to be from a state actor, probably Russia. Abductive (reasoning) 00:52, 20 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
