Merger proposal[edit]

I'd like to suggest that we turn Fellowship of Lutheran Christians into a redirect pointing to this article. The article on the FLC is misnamed (the denomination is actually named "Fellowship of Lutheran Congregations"), is only two sentences long, and lacks any sources. All the information I was able to find online on the FLC I already included in this article, so I don't think that article is likely to grow any larger than it currently is, and in its current state, I have to imagine it is only a matter of time before someone nominates it for deletion (even if that day is a decade or two out). A merger/redirect would at least preserve its page history and talk page.

I should also mention that I already created a redirect for Fellowship of Lutheran Congregations, linking here, so if anyone is opposed to this suggestion, I'll have to change that redirect to point to Fellowship of Lutheran Christians. (Indyguy (talk · contribs), my apologies for not typing up this merger proposal on Saturday, when I made my other changes. The creation of that redirect is the reason I bolded "Fellowship of Lutheran Congregations." I meant to make this merger proposal with the rest of my changes, but I ended up running short on time.) I'm fine with this. After I got done with my edits, I also was thinking that a merge would be a better option. Indyguy (talk) 00:19, 3 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the response. Not hearing any opposition after a week, I'm going to go ahead and make the change. Bnng (talk) 02:49, 10 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
