When erected?[edit]

The article mentions when it was removed but not (what would be the inevitable question) when it was erected. Anyone know? It would clearly have to have been erected after the cemetery was opened and in the lifetime (written 1897) of the Kipling authored quotation. Judging from the comment on the opening line that it was dedicated to those Confederate veterans who had not only died but 'would die' (article's words) on the west coast of the USA it would have been erected when there would still be US Civil War veterans still alive.Cloptonson (talk) 21:13, 9 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
