Notability[edit]

I have reviewed notability for the related subject of churches, and find no definitive criteria, or did I miss something. Nevertheless, I strongly believe that this article meets notability for several reasons. It was the second largest synagogue in central New Jersy and collapsed because of identifiable socio-economic trends well descibed and studied in multiple independent references. As noted in refernce 2, it served as a paradigm for the the plight of American Jewish communal life. References from the subject are mainly to identify notable members as being from there, and filling in some blanks; same with oral histories and an obit., filling in a few blanks. It's the story of a century of Jewish communal life that collapsed. Mwinog2777 (talk) 17:08, 4 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
