Proposed merge[edit]

I originally proposed that this article be merged into Illuminated manuscripts, but at present I think it is too large for that. What about writing one paragraph that is a sort of sum-up of this article, and posting that in Illuminated manuscripts, with one of those "Main article:Preservation of Illuminated Manuscripts" links at the top? Tone of voice[edit]

This article does not seem to be written encyclopedically. The introduction seems advocative and POV, and later on it seems discussive rather than stative. TwelveBaud (what? ↹ what'd I do?) 03:49, 6 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
