photo[edit]

Anyone with this on their Watchlist who's good with a camera: the garden's at a peak in August and the Untermyer Fountain will be backed by chrysanthemums at the end of September. --Wetman 09:50, 29 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm no longer in the area, but it should be noted that my photo of the fountain was deleted as the copyright of the sculptor has not yet expired and a photo focused on the fountain is considered a derivative work. I believe that one can still take a photo including the fountain under freedom of panorama principles; just don't zoom in on the fountain. - BanyanTree 21:30, 31 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Just imagine if that were true! How could there be any illustrations in Wikipedia of the built environment. You've been successfully bullied by a combination of ignorance and officiousness, not unknown at Wikipedia. However the chrysanthemums will make a good photo for someone, and perhaps the Untermyer Fountain will get in the way. --Wetman 13:21, 1 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
