Talk:Continua Health Alliance

I made a number of updates to this page. After looking through the Continua Web site, there was some more information about their Version One Guidelines, the release date, the first certified product, etc. I linked most of the information that I changed for others reference.

I also felt like this page needed to have some organization, so I split it up into section, much like most other wiki pages are currently organized. If you have other ideas for sections or section names feel free to update. I think this will also help for people who want to add info.

Thanks

Please Add reference links[edit]

Any thoughts on other reference links? I added MobileHealthNews.net. They often have articles about the latest Continua news. If anyone knows of others add them in.

Thanks.

I had a look through the page and have added a set of references to press releases for many of the events described in the page. Most of these come from the Continua but I have found a couple of examples from device vendors.

I've also added some links to this page on related technology articles including Bluetooth, and ZigBee.

New Edits[edit]

I added an info box. Cleaned up some language, and added references.

I cleaned up some of the intro text, and added a couple of new sections. I have added a milestones section for new events that have been announced. I also created a list of relevant technologies that are used in the Continua guidelines with reference to their own wiki pages. From the Continua overview presentation on their website I was able to add more detail to the structure of the work groups.

Added See Also Section[edit]

I added a see also section to include terms like eHealth and Telemedicine. Add other sources that could be valuable.

Removing Tags[edit]

I removed the tags from this page. There have been more references added and work to clean up this page. If you feel that this page needs to be tagged, please help by updating the content or specifically calling out sections to help bring any areas in questions up to par.

Conflict of Interest tagging[edit]

It makes no sense that self declared editors place tags on COI without any contribution to improve the quality of contents and just based on blunt assumptions. The COI tag therefore removed.Wireless friend (talk) 14:08, 22 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have had a go at making the article neutral. It is hard to state the aims of a not for profit organisation without using their language which inevitably reads like an advert. Does anyone have toughts on how to improve this, or good examples that can be followed?
