I decree[edit]

Job Production: Is the production of a single object, like a one off yacht or a special hair style designed for one person. Some companies such as Lucky Seven Choppers specialise in making one off motorbikes.

Batch Production: Is making a batch of similar products like audi make batches of A4s or a baker makes batches of donuts. Companies who want to make alot of the same product use batch production. For batch production you sometimes will need a prototype. In my project i will be using batch production, but i will only be making the prototype.

Flow Production: Is having parts flowing down an assembly line and bitts getting added to it as it goes. Car companies assembling engines use this so do food companies packaging their food.

Mass Production: Is like batch production but on a larger scale, people who make toys or computer games use it and sometimes it also incorperates flow production.

Continuous Production: Continuous production is used when they want to make a product with out any interuption. Glass making or oil production are two uses of continuous production.

These problems have been corrected with an extensive rewrite.Phmoreno (talk) 01:15, 11 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. This is not, in my mind a definition of continuous production, but of mass production.
