Masaniello[edit]

Apparently this hat only began to be used in Sicily in the 20th century (and only later in Italy?). So what is that picture of a painting of Masaniello doing here donning what very obviously is not the same type of hat, with him having lived until 1647, even before English nobles first wore them in "the late 18th century"? --86.86.234.244 (talk) 13:16, 23 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
