Added largely based on references found at http://www.riyadh.om/2014/the-first-copyright-law-in-the-arab-world/ ... note these disagree on what law the 1910 act was based on (mid-1800s French or 1901 German law) thus the "or"; perhaps there exist more definitive sources in Turkish, or even in English that I have not found that would clarify.
