This is the talk page[edit]

Barumba, here's the Talk page. Feel free to use this section to discuss the article, per WP:BRD. I'd be careful about claiming sources have spelling and grammar mistakes, though... BastunĖġáḍβáś₮ŭŃ! 14:29, 16 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Well first of all there's the obvious question, why are sources that contain basic spelling and grammatical mistakes considered reliable and up to Wikipedia standards? But let's leave that aside for a moment and look at the "sources" for the "controversy." The main source is from TheJournal.ie with a headline "She wasn't allowed on the RTÉ debate, and now Maria Steen has pulled herself out of the TV3 one". First of all the entry says that the Pro Life Campaign removed Sherlock while TheJournal says she "pulled out" of the debate. Secondly TheJournal.ie article says Steen pulled out of the TV3 debate but a quick search will tell you that Steen actually participated in that debate. Not exactly Pulitizer stuff there, not even updated. Naturally the "sources" for all this are anonymous. The Buzz.ie article (complete with glaring spelling mistake), cites Thehournal.ie as it's source. Talk of controversy is all rumour, hearsay and the sources contradict themselves.
