Notability[edit]

She is mentioned in books, [1], is notable. The article is not well-written, but no case for deletion. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 13:41, 15 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

She is notable, per her extensive discography. There are plenty of reviews out there in International Record Review, Gramophone, etc.. But the article was a blatant copyvio from http://www.bach-cantatas.com/Bio/Samuelis-Cornelia.htm. It's definitely not "reverse copyvio", The bach-cantatas.com bio was published in 2005. This article was created in 2011 as a word-for-word copy paste from that bio. Voceditenore (talk) 14:38, 15 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't look that far ;) - Thank you. Bach Cantatas based the translation on Bach-Verein & Hamburger Camerata, supplying the link but it doesn't work any more. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 14:45, 15 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I've stubbed the article to remove the copyvio and have requested revision deletion of all the previous versions. Voceditenore (talk) 14:48, 15 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Sounds good. I'll use {{copyvio-revdel}} the next time I see something like this, where it's not a speedy candidate yet is clearly problematic. Power~enwiki (π, ν) 22:43, 15 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Power~enwiki. Yes, it's a very useful template/process, but it really only works when the article has had relatively few editors without major additions. Otherwise it becomes very difficult to separate out the revisions requiring deletion. Voceditenore (talk) 07:32, 16 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
