Neutrality[edit]

I have removed the long and tendentious paragraph that formerly opened the article and, I think, made it neutral, but I don't dare remove the Neutrality warning on my own hook. I invite an editor with more experience and/or self-confidence to do so. Languagehat (talk) 14:03, 26 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I've had a go at straightening this out. What do you think? Is the "achievements" section necessary, or does it need more work? Davidelit (Talk) 13:36, 18 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Article Title[edit]

This article has twice been moved to the Indonesian version of the name. As well as WP:ENGLISH, the Corruption Eradication Commission is the name used by the KPK itself on the English pages of its website, and also the Jakarta Post in this article, the Jakarta Globe in this one and Tempo Interactive in this one. Could I suggest that this goes to arbitration if there is no agreement over this issue? Davidelit (Talk) 13:35, 21 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"Arbitration" has a technical meaning here, and is more like a court of last instance. The first step is to discuss the question on the talk page, as we are now doing. The second step, if no consensus emerges, would be asking for a third opinion at WP:3O, or jumping immediately to a request for comment at WP:RFC.
But in this case I am confident we can all agree that "Corruption Eradication Commission" is what this institution is normally called by English sources. It seems pretty clear from my Google searches. Hans Adler 13:46, 21 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Anti-Corruption Court[edit]

I think a section should be included on the Anti-Corruption Court. Either that, or should be linked out to a separate page. The Pengadilan Tipikor is a key feature of the KPK 'framework'. Of course, would need to then discuss the 2006 decision of the Mahkamah Konstitusi. Cgaaus (talk) 07:43, 3 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sources in the lead[edit]

The two sources in the lead are used to cite the current chairman and deputy chairwoman, but they're several years old and appear to refer to previous officials. I'm guessing that the names of the two individuals were changed but the same citations have remained since 2012. I'd rather not delete the sources; is there a way to incorporate them into the history section? MezzoMezzo (talk) 03:40, 6 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Consolidation of history?[edit]

Should the "Achievements" and "KPK & Police" sections be consolidated a subsections under history? Currently, the history section only contains information on how the KPK started; information on its activity thereafter seems to be focused elsewhere.
