Content and organization of Cotton Bowl Classic page[edit]

This article could be improved by explaining who runs the Cotton Bowl and how a team gets a place in this game. I came here to find out what the Cotton Bowl is about, how a team gets chosen to play, and how it is governed. There is no clear mention of the organization and the mention of the opponents was listed quite low (in the "1990s" section). This information perhaps would be better in the first or second paragraph, rather than leading off, as the article does, with the move from one stadium to another.

The history section is very good, listing the major games by decade, but the 1980's section contains a sentence listing all the great quarterbacks who played in the Cotton Bowl. That's useful information, but the listed players did not all play in the '80s. This would be more appropriate in a separate section, perhaps near the list of MVPs.

Finally, it is mentioned in two references that the Cotton Bowl organization would like the game to be part of the BCS. Both references state that a BCS deal with ESPN has ended that hope. On its own, that statement is almost a non sequiter. Why would an ESPN deal affect whether the Cotton Bowl is part of the BCS? One could make some assumptions, but it could be better explained.
