Where's the info on Cottonwood Falls[edit]

This article is completely missing any reference to Cottonwood falls.

It's history starts with "... and the universe was created" up through the Louisiana Purchase which has nothing to do with the falls.

It doesn't say why the city has that name.

Most of the rest of the history is of Chase County. Do you put the Knute Rockne crash in every city in Kansas?

I visited this town yesterday (8/5/2017) and found it interesting and a very nice place. I took a walk across the bridge and now I wished I took pictures.

There were several plaques that gave some local history that would be very welcome here.

I was curious how a "falls" could be in flat Kansas. The only bench I could think of was Limestone and that seemed unlikely to hold up to a river like the Cottonwood for long in order to make a falls so that is why I visited.

Could there be something in this article on the Geology that led to the falls?

It looked like the falls were converted to milling operations. Sounds like more history that is needed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 136.63.215.224 (talk) 02:27, 7 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
