The CBSS founding fathers[edit]

The CBSS founding fathers are: Hans-Dietrich Genscher, Uffe Ellemann-Jensen, Thorvald Stoltenberg, Lennart Meri, Janis Jurkans, Algirdas Saudargas, Henning Christophersen, Paavo Väyrynen, Andrei Kozyrev, Margaretha af Ugglas, and Krzysztof Skubiszewski

Is Margaretha af Ugglas one of the founding fathers, or perhaps one of the founding mothers? Perhaps the footnote should use a gender-neutral word, such as officials, instead of fathers.

Is a footnote the proper place for this list?--Dthomsen8 (talk) 02:16, 22 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • I would suggest simply using "founders" and leaving gender out of it. It does seem like a list of the founders could be integrated into the history text of the article. Mary Mark Ockerbloom (talk) 04:40, 22 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Sounds like a good plan to me.--Dthomsen8 (talk) 01:32, 23 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
