I went to Cormayeur, but didn't see any signs in French.
Because the summit lies within the commune of Saint Gervais, only the French town can claim to be the Top of Europe[edit]
Tha aboe statement must be eliminated because is not true. The ownership of the summit is not French or at least is disputed. See in this respect the page of Wikipedia concerning the summit of Mont-Blanc. I've edited the article accordingly.
