Assessment[edit]

Despite the brevity of this article, it actually has a reasonable amount of succinct content which is properly referenced. No doubt a lot more could be said, but I reckon its up to Start-class now. Am amending WP:Wight class only, in case this is a controversial idea... --Peeky44 (talk) 19:32, 24 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've just added a bit more content on history of the route etc, so I don't think a class of start will be controversial anymore. Editor5807speak 13:12, 3 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Lately I've been trying to significantly improve the quality of the article and have added a lot more detail (history for example). I've taken a look at the assessment criteria for WikiProject Wight and WikiProject Ships and feel it should now be given a higher class than start. For the moment I have promoted it to C class, but as most of the material has now been written by myself that may not be objective, so if anyone disagrees feel free to change it or leave a comment! Thanks Editor5807speak 20:13, 6 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Just as a side note, when I attemted to change the class for WikiProject Ships it remained at start class. Not sure why that was so I have just left it as that for the moment. Editor5807speak 20:15, 6 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Geni I never knew that the chain ferry was being replaced by a new one! Why not replace it with a bridge, it's much less hassle tbh ;) Class455 (talk) 11:19, 27 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
