Image[edit]

Why is there an image of a random girl/woman who/that seems supposed to represent Haiti? What makes her to be a representive of Haiti? Is it her sparkly makeup? WHO IS SHE? Isn't she a random girl/woman who could be from anywhere? IrishLas (talk) 00:38, 14 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed, we already have several photos showing people of Haiti.  DoneSadko (words are wind) 09:52, 8 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Language Section[edit]

Hi, I came here to say that I believe the "Culture of Haiti" article deserves a section for the language of Haiti, which is Haitian Creole and French.

I think this part should give a brief explanation of the development of Creole, how many Haitians speak French, and how Haitian Creole is mutually intelligible with other French creoles in the region. I saw how Jamaica, the Dominican Republic, Cuba, the Bahamas ad other Caribbean countries seem to have one but not Haiti, and Haiti has a very interesting relationship with language compared to other nations throughout the region.

No strict demands here or anything, just a recommendation. 72.89.5.202 (talk) 02:59, 16 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
