International Airport and Customs Airport[edit]

Customs airport by definition seem to be the ones authorised to import and export goods out of the country irrespective of whether they also handle international passengers. At least as per Airports Authority of India website http://www.airportsindia.org.in/allAirports/airports.jsp, not all airports that have a few international flights are classified as International Airports.

It seems that is the case in most Commonwealth countries closer to British systems. See the list below
