Jessi Slaughter meme[edit]

I've decided to go with WP:BOLD and re-add the Jessi Slaughter meme, except this time with references.

And it has been appropriately removed. BLP violation on an eleven year old girl. How horrible can you be? Everard Proudfoot (talk) 02:52, 20 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
The existence of the meme is undeniable, and referring to it would strike me as more likely to be WP:OR than WP:BLP. The real question is that of relevance, particularly on a disambiguation page. Evan C (Talk) 03:29, 20 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I can't remember the guy's name right now, but there was an article about a meme about a guy who was under intense attack for his appearance, which eventually got deleted by Jimbo for the BLP concerns. This is more of the same. It doesn't matter if there is such a meme (especially since YouTube has taken down the videos), "first do no harm" is the most important criterion. Also I would think it falls under WP:ONEEVENT. Mike Allen 05:38, 20 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Article is inaccurate[edit]

Why is there no mention of the Jessi Slaughter meme on this page? Are you guys trying to re-write history or something? That's not what Wikipedia is for. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Skcin7 (talkcontribs) 08:01, 8 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The term "cyber police" is literally synonymous with the Jessi Slaughter meme. So I'm not sure why there's no mention of that in the article... other than if some people are attempting to re-write history. Skcin7 (talk) 08:04, 8 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I guess you could say that... this article dun goofed. Skcin7 (talk) 08:06, 8 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
