Cyrus preceded by a year the publication of a textbook on so-called "modern algebra": the 1941 1st edition of the textbook of Garrett Birkhoff and Saunders Mac Lane" "Survey of Modern Algebra". Yet there is no portrait of Cyrus posted in this article.
