Turntable problems[edit]

I think this should be mentioned: http://www.gamespot.com/xbox360/puzzle/djhero/show_msgs.php?topic_id=m-1-52023876&pid=954828 and http://www.gamespot.com/xbox360/puzzle/djhero/show_msgs.php?topic_id=m-1-52035920&pid=954828 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.118.10.62 (talk) 09:55, 10 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Need more than forum posts to assert technical issues. --MASEM (t) 14:32, 11 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Just write in google dj hero turntable and u get lot results talking about the scratch problem of the controller. There is also a FAQ: http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/genmessage.php?board=954828&topic=52175121 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 151.11.103.122 (talk) 15:56, 11 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

There's still no reliable sources (gamefaqs is not one) that describe this as an issue. It is a shame that there are problems, but we need sources to confirm this. --MASEM (t) 16:11, 11 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

There will no be official source for this. Just buy the game and you will see these scratch issues if you can get them. C Ya. I buyed two of them and I got that problems for both. (Items were brand new stock from the shop). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.10.122.97 (talk) 14:49, 21 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Songs[edit]

The "songs" section says that online rumors are the source, shouldn't that be deleted unless it is confirmed?-63.245.159.198 (talk) 03:06, 27 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I was thinking the same thing. Daft Punk is listed as a contributing artist, yet only Kotaku has reported this and they even state in the article that it is a rumor. 69.136.102.211 (talk) 20:33, 3 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Activision gets sued over DJ Hero[edit]

Okay, how would I work this in? I'm surprisingly having a hard time picking the right wording for this. ViperSnake151  Talk  13:33, 16 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Special Edition version of DJ Hero to have CD's from Jay-Z and Eminem[edit]

no word on exactly what albums will be released, but if anyone wants to add this, then go ahead. --Estemshorn (talk) 03:44, 30 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

50 Cent in DJ Hero[edit]

Please add this: [1] to Disco Inferno vs. Last Night a DJ Saved My Life as a reference link. It shows the song is in the game and the video features DJ Z-Trip. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.165.113.60 (talk) 00:41, 3 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The Aranbee Pop Symphony Orchestra?[edit]

When I first heard they put this band in the game, I had no clue about who they were. After looking them up, I found that they did covers of Beatles and Rolling Stones songs. Apparently, they also did a cover of The Verve's Bittersweet Symphony. So what I'm asking is: Why did the developers use the cover song instead of the original?

Most likely the original group didn't approve clearance for use of the song while the people who did the cover did. It has happened with Guitar Hero in the past. ♫ Douglasr007 (talk) 16:27, 6 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

List of songs in DJ Hero (Seperate Article)[edit]

Since DJ Hero is having DLC, it might be a good idea to make a new article for The List of Songs in DJ Hero. Just saying. estemshorn (talk|sigs) 19:16, 15 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Wikiproject Guitar Hero[edit]

Turntable image[edit]

Sk8ter5000 added File:DJ Hero.jpg as a free image of the controller (Which is completely fair to try to do , we can get a free image, since the game's out). That said, while the image its based on from Flickr meets all the conditions required for calling it free, I don't believe it is a free image. Namely, if you look at the Flickr user, he is an editor from a gaming blog, probably getting these images from press packs. The images in the flickrstream, left and right, are in-game screenshots, all marked with CC-BY, but that doesn't magically make them free even though Common's auto-import tools will do it happily. The date of the image, June 2009, well before the game's release, means either he took that picture himself with the white-bg doctoring while as a press event, or got it from a press kit. Even the picture itself appears to be a render as opposed to true image.

For these reasons, I'm removing that image and tagging as such at Commons.

However, I do encourage anyone if they can take a free image of their controller and upload that to do so. The one image I found that is assuredly free, the renegade unboxing, doesn't do that much justice to the controller.--MASEM (t) 20:49, 23 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'm getting it for Christmas, so I guess I could try and take some pictures of the turntable. estemshorn (talk|contrib) 00:33, 24 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
So am I. I'll take some too (I'll have the PS3 version). -- Sk8er5000 (talk) 20:01, 24 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I'm getting the ps3 version. So, I guess it really matters which pictures are better. Also, do you have the renegade edition, or just the normal one?? estemshorn Merry Christmas and a happy new year 00:09, 25 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Normal. I'll take the pics once I finish transferring some pics over from Flickr. -- Sk8er5000 (talk) 06:35, 25 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I've just inserted the turntable pic finally from my PS3 game onto the article. -- sk8er5000 yeah? 06:18, 17 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Great, thanks! I did re-add the other pic as it still shows the renegade edition (and is free as well) too. --MASEM (t) 12:38, 17 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Facts have to be backed up by reliable sources, and the "facts" being added do not have this. This is vandalism. --Masem (t) 00:08, 9 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
