Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... (your reason here) --122.35.234.89 (talk) 12:08, 10 July 2013 (UTC) DGIST is an educational institution which provide graduate programs (MS, PhD) and will open undergraduate program in March 2014. This university is founded by Korean government. The Korean government provides full scholarship to all student of DGIST. Even though there are more than 200 universities in Korea, only three universities, including DGIST, receive thses benefits from the government. I believe that these will explain why this article should not be deleted. If you need any further reason not to delete this article, please let me know. I am happy to write more.[reply]

Request for the change of the title[edit]

I would like to ask for a change of the title from Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science and Technology to DGIST.
Even though DGIST stands for Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science and Technology to DGIST, the university does not use 'Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science and Technology'. It is the same case to KAIST. Even though KAIST stands for Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, KAIST does not use the full name any more. The title of the article at Wikipedia on KAIST is KAIST, not Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology.
Originally, I put DGIST in the title of the article. It has been changed to Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science and Technology. I do not know why and who. If you could make a change, it would be appreciated.
