Birth?[edit]

According to FreeBMD, there are three people named David Maidment who were born in Wales between 1888 and 1913, i.e. a period coincing with a circa-1928 playing era, they are; David John Maidment (birth registered January→March 1894 in Pontypridd district), David Arthur Maidment (birth registered October→December 1900 in Crickhowell district), David James Maidment (birth registered July→September 1903 in Bedwelty district), are any of these David Maidment? Also, According to FreeBMD, the birth of a David A. Maidment (mother's maiden surname Jones) was registered during October→December 1927 in Wakefield district, in the same era that David Maidment was playing for Wakefield Trinity. If this David A. Maidment was the son of David Maidment, then David Maidment senior might also have been a David Arthur Maidment, which would point towards the David Arthur Maidment October→December 1900 in Crickhowell district being David Maidment.
