Factual accuracy may be disputed as only two references talking about it[edit]

Dear Admantine123, you have mentioned gangrape of women here but when I search for it, I could only get two references of Ashok Kumar and SK Ghosh. I couldn't find any reportage of rape of women in any of the main media houses ( since it is crime scene), Do we have the CBI or investigation report for it? Akalanka820 (talk) 07:27, 28 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The two references of SK Ghosh and Ashok Kumar used are from Google books when in fact others are not backing it up including crime reporting from Telegraph, and various publications, in any notable crime scene ( which becomes event of its own) if rape etc happened it would get some mention in the subsequent reportings of the case on that line in reputed publications. Rest what I could read is killing of men and women in other references. Do we have any CBI report or investigation report etc to verify it? This can be helpful in deciding how to go about the two Google book reference. This is what I find from 1987 primary reporting -

Barely a kilometre away, Dalelchak village was living through its own nightmare. Kamla Devi had just returned from her in-laws' house after her marriage a fortnight earlier, and her father was celebrating. When the dogs barked outside. Kamla's sister Lalita Devi peeped out, to see a horde of armed men marching of the village. The two sisters, their parents and other relatives fled into the fields, but were pulled back by a neighbour who insisted they had nothing to worry about. The family returned home. Two hours later, only Kamla and her sister were alive. Everyone else's throats had been slit

from India Today 1987 reporting, no mention of rape. Akalanka820 (talk) 07:31, 28 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
This is a very old case, part of caste wars of Bihar. Infact during those time, massacres went unreported many a times. In many cases, where 40-50 people were killed (which makes them big massacre in present time and which will be widely covered by all media houses, went unreported during that period). In such circumstances, if you are getting 2 sources, what's bad in that? CBI report, seems funny:). Do you really think that CBI will investigate these cases, specially in the period, when state was colluding with such armed groups.(As per Human Rights Watch. Btw, i will add more sources here for the same. I had 4-5. ThanksAdmantine123 (talk) 16:20, 28 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Fortunately, i was searching Laxmanpur Bathe massacre and i found a lot of Sources, which talks of murders only, not talking about rape. [1][2][3]. Most of the newspaper sources covered murders only. May be the media houses were not in a mood to disrupt communal harmony then, as the rapes may instigate the feeling of hatred towards particular community. But, good books like "Community warriors" by Ashwani Kumar and Human Rights Watch says that brutal rape were committed in this case also like "Dalelchak-Baguaura". Here is quote from Ashwani Kumar:

Everyone was shot in the chest. I also saw that the panties were torn. One girl was Prabha. She was fifteen years old. She was supposed to go to her husband's house two to three days later. They also cut her breast and shot her in the chest. Another was Manmatiya, also fifteen. They raped her and cut off her breast. The girls were all naked, and their panties were ripped. They also shot them in the vagina. There were five girls in all. All five were raped. All were fifteen or younger. All their breasts were cut off.

Would request you to keep your personal opinion in control and don't be admant to remove all the things which appear negative to you, particularly with respect to Rajput caste. On the list of "caste based violence", you removed the term Rajput, so that in first look, a reader can't get, who perpetrated rape against whom?. Although, from the sources its clear that Rajput women were gangraped in front of male relatives by the Yadavs. Please, don't disrupt the article on malicious ground. Don't tag me here, just put your comments, will view, when get time.Admantine123 (talk) 20:24, 28 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
[4] This is list of massacre in Bihar. You will not find even a single source for many of them. It doesn't mean that if one source is found, you will dispute that it's disiputed. Admantine123 (talk) 20:32, 28 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Admantine123:, Please don't come up with fake accusations, as explained by Admins 2 weeks back that the talk page of article is to discuss only content and not comments on editor, I will stick to their instructions and would request the same from you. The two reference in the lines say women we are not here to add caste after each and every lines unless the reference says, it is very clear to readers from the description of the articles. My point is the other references related to the case doesn't talk about it. This is why it becomes important to cross-check, a lot of these sources are from Google books. none of the other references are saying what you are trying to make it out please specify the other references. In my checking I came across only these two Google book related to SK Ghosh and Ashok Kumar talking on different line. Please specify the lines from other reputed reference like Human Rights Watch on Dalelchak Bhagaura, you cannot use Laxmanpur Bathe case to talk about Dalelchak Bhagaura case, and don't try to deviate to start a tangent discussion, we are talking about Dalelchak case Akalanka820 (talk) 04:07, 29 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Right now, I corrected it as per reference, and added a counter point to it, as no other references are saying the same.Akalanka820 (talk) 06:04, 29 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

OK, it's fine. Whenever i get time, will add more sources. I had 4-5 sources mentioning the rape by Yadav perpetrators in brutal way. But, right now, i am on break.Admantine123 (talk) 06:08, 29 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
