Sources[edit]

I cannot find reliable, independent, secondary sources for:

  • 'I, Titon'
  • 'According to Ben Adams'
    • debuted on the international festival circuit in Toronto and New York.
    • The story of what happens when the devil in a bad mood meets a gentle madman claiming to be Jesus
    • Multiple international award nominations culminated in an unprecedented eight award nominations at the Golden Door International Film Festival in New Jersey.
    • The production has since screened globally as an official selection (or nomination) in twenty seven more international film festival events
    • Daniel Schepisi, that acted in this movie, is the nephew of iconic Australian director Fred Schepisi.
  • 'Massacre of the Innocents'
    • In 2006, their human rights drama 'Massacre of the Innocents' starred Ryan Moloney
    • It achieved official selection at the Gold Lion Film Festival and was screened in the festival's "Films with a Conscience" category.
  • 'Little Black Dress' 2009 was their debut feature set in their hometown of Melbourne and starring Sandy Greenwood and Anna Choy.
  • Their internationally acclaimed follow up 'The Fabled Fable' achieved official selection at the International Film Festival of Cinematic Arts, San Antonio Film Festival, Arizona International Film Festival, Costa Rica International Film Festival and AOF International Film Festival.
  • Dan Noah graduated from film school with a Masters in Film (Direction). He is known for his occasional nod to the tradition of irreverence established by such celebrated fellow countrymen as Peter Weir, Alex Proyas and Russell Mulcahy.
  • Bramwell Noah began his career as a playwright and theater director before commencing a filmmaking collaboration with his brother. His body of work includes retellings of the Oedipus and Faust myths, productions of Shakespeare, and modern classics.

The sources were Bramwell Noah's website and imdb.com, which is a user-generated content site.

Recent edits[edit]

I am pinging @Calendar0ct, Calendar2015, Newart1, and Season2013: as you are the major contributors to this article.

When I found this article, it looked closer to needing to be deleted than anything else. First of all, there are key notability issues, since this does not seem to meet WP:GNG or WP:CREATIVE guidelines. I cannot do too much about that (except perhaps taking it as a notability concern or nominating it for deletion), but here's what I did to improve the article:

  1. Renamed it according to their names. I do not see even a partial use of "Noah brothers" or "Noah Bros" in the description of their roles in the movies. So, it should be named according to their names if there is to be a dual article... another option, though, is to name it "Noah's Art Movies".
  2. Removed all the primary and unreliable sites. For articles that are Biographies of Living People, primary sources shouldn't be used at all - or for very limited information. imdb.com is WP:User-generated content and is not a reliable source, because there is no editorial control on the information. In addition, more than just that source is needed to add content to Wikipedia.
  3. I found reliable sources where I could and reworded content based upon the use of those sources.
  4. Content that I could not find sources for was moved to the talk page. Perhaps I missed something and there are other sources. For instance, there may be Australian newspapers that have some background information that I am not privy to.
  5. The article could have been tagged and deleted for it's promotional tone. I rewrote content in encyclopedic tone to resolve that issue. Not nearly as flowery or pretty, but this is an encyclopedia.

Anyway, that's why the article looks very different. I hope all of this makes sense. Please feel free to comment. I will be watching this page.–CaroleHenson (talk) 01:10, 16 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Just in case -- close connection info[edit]

There may not be a connection, but just in case, I thought I'd share the following:

If you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
  • instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies.–CaroleHenson (talk) 01:25, 16 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
