Ramsey[edit]

changed A.S. Ramsey to P.Ramsey assuming the famous Ramsey (Ramsey theory) of Cambridge was meant.--84.174.201.140 17:58, 6 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hmmm! You need to back that up. Check the citation where it clearly states: "There his tutor was Arthur Stanley Ramsey, the father of Frank Ramsey." If that is incorrect and there are convincing references, then cite them. Better still - cite both with an explanation. I would support that approach. No! But at my age, time flies too quickly. Thanks. Folks at 137 (talk) 17:15, 13 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Institute for Advanced Study[edit]

There have been edits linking the Institute for Advanced Study to Princeton University. As far as I can see, the Institute for Advanced Study is not part of Princeton University, although it is located in Princeton and "has links" and "informal ties and collaboration". The wiki article on the Institute says "The Institute is not part of any educational institution" and its own website says "The Institute has no formal links to other educational institutions. However, since its founding, it has enjoyed close, collaborative ties with Princeton University and other nearby institutions." These ties are not formal links and are not only, apparently, with Princeton University. Of course, if all this is incorrect, then please make the appropriate changes - with references. Thanks.
