"sacred"[edit]

What makes the song "sacred"? Is that the appropriate word here? Or is it rather a hymn or religious song? I assume we're not claiming the song itself is venerated or worshipped. --diff (talk) 22:47, 23 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Sacred music is not sacred, it's a term. - The song is not the standard hymn, - yes, it ended up there, printed in officially hymnals, but is different, and for most of the text not outspoken religious. If you have a better word, feel free to change. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 23:10, 23 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
My apologies; if it's a specific term of art rather than a descriptive phrase, then maybe a wikilink to the appropriate article when you use that expression would suffice. Readers outside of a religious context won't be familiar with it and may mistakenly take it at face value as I did. --diff (talk) 02:17, 24 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

English title[edit]

Should the English title not be mentioned? It is "Thank you for giving me this morning". That's the title you can find it under in several hymnals. https://www.godsongs.net/2013/01/thank-you.html 96.22.178.42 (talk) 00:31, 2 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
