I have urged the gentleman on his talk page to keep his edits neutral--if he doesn't, any editor is free to place a COI tag on top of the article. Was it really 16 years? They why does it SAY "15 years"?[edit]

The current status[edit]

Currently, (as of the current version of this article) the penultimate ("second-to-last") sentence in the "Goldwater_Institute" section of this article says:

Olsen left the Goldwater Institute in July 2017 after serving as its CEO for 15 years.^[20]

What is going on?[edit]

The footnote -- (currently it is footnote number "[20]") -- at the end of that sentence points to a web page at the URL (or "internet address") https://www.usnews.com/news/best-states/arizona/articles/2017-07-11/goldwater-institute-ceo-stepping-down-after-16-years now.

Both the body and the TITLE of that web page -- and the URL itself! -- show the time period as having been "16 years".

Also (note that) footnote number "[21]" (at the end of the next sentence) ... points to a web page [article] at: https://azcapitoltimes.com/news/2017/07/10/goldwater-institute-leader-stepping-down-after-16-years/ -- which also mentions a time period of 16 years -- ! -- both in its URL and in the title (and the body!) of that article.

Proposed change[edit]

So, it would seem to me, that -- (unless there is some good reason to say "15 years" instead of "16 years") -- the sentence (the one quoted above) should be changed to say "16 years" instead. (right?)

If no one submits any good reasons (and, especially if no one submits any reasons at all) why this article should say "15 years" (as it does now) instead of "16 years", then ... it is my intention to edit that sentence (the one that is quoted above in a "block quote") to say "16 years" instead.
