Any Difference with Data Analytics?
This is the first time I use wiki to make contribution. I'm trying to initiate a topic on Data Analysis, to further discuss the different names of Data Analysis that might share the same meaning. For example I always hear talks about Data Analytics, which deals with data retrieval, storage and statistics analysis with the big data. - I think data analysis is the method to analyze data. And data analytics is a subject.

From the content of http://searchdatamanagement.techtarget.com/definition/data-analytics, there seems to be no distinction between "data analysis" and "data analytics". "Data analysis" sounds academic, "Data analytics" like business usage.
