Stating that the first month Daula (month) corresponds to July-August doesn't fit the descriptioin in the text. Both Aquarius and Hebrew Shevat correspond to January-February. By consequence the infoboxes of all the other Mandaean months seem to err. noychoH (talk) 13:18, 20 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Mandaean calendar is 365 days in a year but there is no leap year, therefore all Mandaean festival dates go back a day every 4 years according to its corresponding day in the Gregorian calendar. This causes the Mandaean months not to correspond with their zodiac sign over time. Mcvti (talk) 15:48, 20 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Daula in Mandaic means Aquarious which is Shevat in Hebrew. Again, due to the lack of a leap year in the Mandaean calendar, the month currently corresponds to Jul/Aug in the Gregorian calendar. You seem to mix two words: "means" and "corresponds to". Maybe "Daula" means "Aquarius" in Mandaic, but "Shevat> does not mean "Aquarius" in Hebrew, it is the name of the fifth month, which is constantly (due to leap yera corrections) occuring in the time which corresponds to the Sun being in the zodiac sign of Aquarius. But Daula does not correspond to it, at least not any longer. It maybe corresponded to it some (180 * 4 =) 720 years ago, and again some (180 * 12 =) 2160 years ago, but not in the 21st century.
Tha fact that you have updated the main article does not mean that the information in the 12 articles concerning 12 months does not require that explanation as well, because it is still confucing to any reader who knows enough about the xodiac and Hebrew calendar (there are plenty of such readers) but knows almost nothing about Mandaean one. noychoH (talk) 21:37, 20 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
