Requested move[edit]

Dave Parker (baseball player)Dave ParkerRationale: The only Dave Parker in the system. I changed Dave Parker from a one-article dab to a redirect two months ago and no one's complained. —Wknight94 (talk) 17:39, 25 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

African-American[edit]

Should there be a mention somewhere in the article and/or a category of his being black? It comes up in some of the mentions of fan anger at him, and a substantial amount of the coverage from his glory days is in magazines for black readers, but I'm not sure how much of a topic race is in baseball in recent decades. Salary/Million Dollars[edit]

The bit about Dave Parker being the first million dollar-paid player in the headline paragraph does not belong in the headline paragraph, if it belongs in the article at all. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Fenderjapan (talkcontribs) 21:09, 10 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
