Attribution to the DNB[edit]
I have put back the attribution to the DNB article because although the article has been expanded it still relies on the DNB to a certain extent and the duplication detector indicates that there is still a reasonable amount of common language between the two articles.
I have included the DNB in one citation because it was not clear to me that the citation given in the DNB " New Statistical Account of Scotland, ix. 539" and also used in this article to support a quote is sufficient for someone to be able to check in the 'New Statistical Account of Scotland for the information. For example what was the year of publication, where was it published and who published it a and wrote it? -- PBS (talk) 20:47, 21 December 2012 (UTC)
