Notability?[edit]

So why is David Haussler notable? If the subject's notability isn't clarified in the article (and appropriately sourced), I'll slap a speedy delete A7 on it within a reasonable time frame. — X S G 19:47, 9 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I added a link to the PNAS article describing his career and providing evidence for notability. I think the man who led the team to assemble the human genome is notable.
