Proposal to move page back to David Martin[edit]

I believe that this page was inappropriately moved to a dab page, by User:Fleets per WP:ONEOTHER. The issue here is I moved an article on the rugby player David March to David March (rugby player) when I created the article on the actor. User:Fleets doesn't believe there is a primary, but I contend there clearly is. The Rugby player has zero coverage beyond statistical sources and minor mentions in rugby fan type pages (i.e. not significant RS). There are no sources where he is the primary subject, and frankly I am not certain it meets GNG. David March the actor on the other hand won a Radio Academy Award and had a 45 year long career in radio for the BBC, was a celebrated actor on the English stage at some of the most important theaters like the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, and is the primary subject of multiple aritcles across several decades, including a featured obituary in The Independent. Given that the amount of coverage is much greater, and is much longer I don't think there is an issue determining which article should be the primary one.4meter4 (talk) 14:57, 9 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

No hint of a bias there, 400 game rugby league footballer not meeting GNG is clearly laughable. It was clearly a contentious move to boot the previous and input the actor. If there is a clear primary then I am happy for the actor or the rugby league footballer to be the secondary. It should not have been moved in the first place without consultation.Fleets (talk) 15:39, 9 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't think it was contentious, and still don't, but that is neither here nor there. It it what it is. Regardless, one of them needs to be the primary as dab pages only get made when there are three articles of more, not two.4meter4 (talk) 17:08, 9 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
