Sexist joke[edit]

So. While I understand that Wikipedia literally just exists to parrot headlines according to a a lot of its editors I’d like to think we could do much better. The joke in question. Which should absolutely be quoted at least for honesty, is not sexist. As much as the lazy headline writers may want it to be all they are doing is parroting. Parroting is not journalism and we can’t just say “well Newsweek said it” are we an encyclopedia? Or are we just a news aggregator? If all we are is a reliable source aggregator then fine. Let it stand. But if that’s all we are I don’t even see the point of running this encyclopedia. There. Now go ahead and delete this because you don’t like the conversation and you don’t want to reply from your ivory towers. 2601:18C:D07F:89F0:7C7F:A364:586F:82E9 (talk) 13:21, 11 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Characterizing all women as being mentally ill or lying about their sexual identity is sexist. Finkinator (talk) 21:51, 31 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
