History section timeline[edit]

The first paragraph states "The first train line to serve DeRidder came in 1902", and the fourth paragraph states "By 1898 the trains were running". This is confusing at best. Otr500 (talk) 19:58, 5 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Otr500: A vandal changed 1897 to 1502 in 2009.[1] Somebody changed 1502 to 1902, probably in good faith. I have restored 1897 after checking a source. PrimeHunter (talk) 19:59, 9 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Update On Pop[edit]

New census by ACS 2019. The popular has changed from 10578 to 10861 and the other changed from 87988 to 86689. Data is from https://censusreporter.org/profiles/31000US19760-deridder-la-micro-area/. Might be hard to get accurate data so the best compromise as the US Census got 10588 is 10724. And the other one varies from 84926 to 87988 so the most accurate is 86534. Incorrect Area on split parish[edit]

As i kinda live here, i have to state that indeed. due to the strange situation that this area is in, the border does not include most of Green Acres, as it barely ends before it reaches there. It instead goes around County Line Road and a section where the church is, is actually a part of it, only the Far NW section of green acres are included.
