Reclassify, Merge and/or Rename Page[edit]

As noted by the template, this documentary by itself isn't notable by itself but has elevated the murder of Brooke Preston into more media prominence (see articles below). I don't see how this page as is could be expanded since the factual events of her murder, the trial and the conviction of the prepetrator would need to be cited. The documentary itself can't be used as it's own source. The documentary also focuses on sleepwalking as a legal defense.

May I suggest (2) options:

    • 1. Change title to "The Murder of Brooke Preston" and include citable articles surrounding her background, the murder, the perpetrator, his background, the trial, and his conviction. This documentary could be addressed in a subsection "In Media"
    • 2. Move/merge under the subparagraph "Sleepwalking as a Legal Defense" under Sleepwalking as a cited case with the outcome (that section is lacking cited articles)

Below are a few cited articles that could be added if option 1 is preferred in addition to the ones already contained in the article. The Daily Beast Oxygen Palm Beach Post CBS News Yahoo News New York Daily News Sun Sentinel

Sources would tend to prove it's notable. -My, oh my! (Mushy Yank) 23:42, 10 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
