Notability:

I'm not going to spend a lot of time trying to track down data, nor do I want to get into one of these stupid edit fights about significance. Let me just say tha the author's Wik page (and various sources) say that she and the protagonist of this novel were key points in mystery writing in that they introduced a different type of detective (female and tough). This is one of the earliest (second, I think, but my computer is too slow for me to go and check) novels with this protagonist. In addition, for what it's worth, all of the Vic novels are either red- or blue-linked (not by me).Kdammers (talk) 04:40, 19 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
