Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because this Church of England deanery happens to be a few centuries old, even though the article doesn't say that. Note that for speedy deletion "a claim of significance need not amount to a statement that, if sourced, would establish notability". The subject is significant, though it might not be notable. I suggest that it goes to discussion, rather speedy deletion --- Gareth Hughes (talk) 01:43, 21 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
