Just thought I would point out that part of the narrative is wrong:

1) Kersey does not "decapitate" the fellows head, as the author says. Rather Kersey hits him with a tire iron and slams the trunk on his body which is slumped into the trunk of the car. Hardly a decapitation.

2) Kersey definately does NOT recognize the cops who "take him into custody" (actually they're not real cops at all, just mobsters impersonating real police officers). What really happens is this: (I may not have the diolog exactly right, but this is more than the gist of it) Kersey: "Hey, this isn't the way to the police station". Cop: We're taking the scenic route (or some other retort with similar affect) Kersey (starting to get a little suspicious) "Say, Don't I know you from the Sunset Station"? Cop: "Yeah, Could be". Kersey: "Just what I thought"

At that point Kersey knows it's a ruse, that the cops are fake, and goes into action to save himself. But you would have to know a little about Los Angeles to get what just happened in that scene. Kersey was just testing the (fake) cops. There is no such thing as the "Sunset Station" in LA. So no real LAPD cop would have given such an answer. Thats why he says "Just what I thought"

Is this book used in the article self-published? It seems to have a lot of information, but if it is, I think it fails WP:RS. Thoughts?Andrzejbanas (talk) 15:40, 22 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
