  • I also have a 2006 pic of the courthouse memorial, but I'm not sure of its importance because I'm not confident in the description in the article that calls it the "world's first monument dedicated exclusively to peace." Is this describing the Art Deco monument also seen in the 1935 monument currently in the article? That's the one I have a fresh pic of, but looked to me like a very nice, but very conventional, war memorial. It's full of names of local men who died in various wars, especially WW1. --Tysto 16:59, 9 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Historical Data[edit]

It sounds like a pretty important town for one with under 10,000 residents. Has the population shrunk? I'd be interested in one of those charts that shows the historical population levels, if anyone has that data. –samaraphile
